This is the house where the modern Greek writer Pavlos Nirvanas lived. It is an excellent example of local folk architecture of the "Macedonian type". The two-storey building now houses the Historical Museum of Skopelos, from ancient times until today. It is located in the center of Skopelos, next to the church of the Three Hierarchs.
The beautiful island of Skopelos is the greenest island in the Aegean. It has mountains and many natural sources and thus, it is a place with enormous biodiversity. A dense pine forest covers a big part of the island which goes all the way to the beach creating landscapes of incomparable charm.
